Cadbury desserts recalled in listeria scare

Cadbury desserts

Müller has recalled some batches of various Cadbury-branded dessert products because of the possible presence of listeria.

The affected products are:

  • Cadbury Daim Chocolate Dessert (75g)
  • Cadbury Crunchie Chocolate Dessert (75g)
  • Cadbury Flake Chocolate Dessert (75g)
  • Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons Chocolate Dessert (75g)
  • Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunks Chocolate Dessert (75g)
  • Cadbury Heroes Chocolate Dessert (6 x 75g)

These have a use-by date of 17 May for the Flake and Crunchie desserts and 18 May for the others.

The Food Standards Agency has produced a point of sale warning notice for retailers.

Müller is investigating what it called an “isolated incident” and said: “Müller produces these products under licence from Mondelez International and has stressed that this does not impact any other products it produces in the UK or other markets.”
