Alexandria store put up for sale

A Keystore-branded convenience store in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire, has been put on the market.

The well-established store, located at 156 Main Street, is positioned within a parade of other trading commercial outlets.

The business occupies one of the ground floor units in a two-storey building, with the first floor containing a storeroom, office and toilet. In addition, there is parking at the rear of the store.

EPOS data shows the store achieves weekly sales of around £14,500.

Liam Bain, Business Agent – Retail at Christie & Co, said: “The owners have made the decision that it is now time to concentrate on their other business interests. The unit would suit a first-time buyer wanting to own their own store.

“There is great opportunity to transform the already successful store by introducing new offerings such as food-to-go and coffee-to-go solutions.”

The store opening hours are currently Monday to Saturday 6.30am – 10pm and Sunday 7.30am – 10pm.

The store is available on a leasehold basis, with an asking price of £100,000, and annual rent of £12,800.
