From highlands to lowlands, urban to rural, convenience stores are the beating heart of communities right across Scotland, helping to forge, support and promote valuable connections that have a meaningful impact on local lives.

Central to this power are people – the faces behind the counter, on the shop floor and in the back office and stockroom, who strive day in and day out, to make a positive difference – a difference which not only contributes to the overall success of their own store, but also to Scotland’s convenience industry as a whole.

SLR’s Above and Beyond Awards are here to recognise, showcase and reward these store superstars – inspiring other colleagues and future generations along the way.

In Great Britain Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) employs some 3,500 people across England, Scotland and Wales at manufacturing sites, offices and depots.

In GB, CCEP makes, sells and delivers products including the following for The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC): Coca-Cola original taste, Diet Coke, Coca-Cola zero sugar, Fanta, Sprite, Dr Pepper, glacéau smartwater, Schweppes, Appletiser and Oasis. CCEP in GB also makes, sells or delivers Monster, Relentless, Capri-Sun and Costa ready-to-drink Coffee.

In GB, two-thirds of our volume sales of soft drinks come from zero sugar options, which is 40% higher than 10 years ago. Our bottles and cans are all recyclable and smaller bottles sold in GB are made from 100% recycled plastic (excluding caps & labels).

Last year, in partnership with Coca-Cola Great Britain, we announced the launch of new bottles with caps that remain attached, making it easier to collect and recycle all of the plastic used in our products and ensure no caps is left behind. The new design means that the cap stays connected to the bottle after opening, so the whole plastic bottle and attached cap can be recycled together, reducing the potential for it to be littered.
