Unitas Wholesale launches soft drinks category insight

Unitas Wholesale has published two new Focus On category guides to help retailers drive sales and profits in the £2.47bn soft drinks market. 

Focus On Soft Drinks offers retailers an overview of the fastest-growing areas within the category, as well as revealing the top 10 bestselling Sports, Fruit Carbonates, Energy, and Iced Coffee brands. Retailers will also be able to find shopper insight and planograms they can implement in store. 

In addition, Focus On Energy reveals the top-selling singles and take-home products, outlines the opportunity for retailers in low-sugar energy drinks, and provides five planograms for different sized fixtures. 

Tracey Redfearn, Head of Marketing and Communications at Unitas Wholesale, said: “We’re very proud of our latest Focus On guides on Soft Drinks and Energy Drinks, which we believe will really help retailers maximise sales growth opportunities. 

“We’re aware that a lot of the advice within the category is delivered around summer, but soft drinks is a key category all seasons. By launching these guides now, we hope we can equip retailers with knowledge they need to make the category a year-round success.” 

The guides are now available in selected member depots and for free online.
