Mondelez has kicked-off the 2019 Halloween season with a hat trick of new launches from Maynards Bassetts and Cadbury.
Maynards Bassetts Soft Jellies Scary Safari is a ‘bag of bags’ product that contains 17 x 16.7g mini bags, making it ideal for fending off hordes of trick-or-treaters. Each bag contains a variety of animal-shaped soft jelly sweets in a variety of fruity flavours.
With an RSP of £2, it will be available from 5 August in cases of 10 x 284g packs.
Sales of chews last Halloween grew by 26.8%, hence the launch of Maynards Bassetts Dead Chewy. Cases of 12 x 162g packs of individually wrapped chews are available from 26 August with an RSP of £1.
In addition to these two, Mondelez has also unveiled a new Oreo product developed specifically for the spooky season.
Cadbury Oreoooo is a 256g bag of individually wrapped Oreo Mini Filled Eggs, with Halloween branding. Available in cases of 12 from 5 August, it has an RSP of £4.19.
