Londis campaign targets new retailers

Londis has rolled out a direct mail campaign to recruit new retailers, which includes a £75,000 launch fund.

More than 900 independent and symbol group retailers are being targeted in the push, which offers the first five retailers to sign up £15,000 each to help launch their store.

The mailing, designed to look like an ice-lolly wrapper, poses the question: “Ask yourself… shouldn’t you be with Londis?”

John Pattison, Londis Brand Director said: “This is the third phase of our 2015 recruitment strategy, targeting independent retailers who have the potential to become part of the Londis family. It’s a much more light-hearted approach for this campaign but with a serious offer – to work with a best in class convenience store with competitive prices and award winning ranges.”

The first five retailers who sign up during August and September will receive a £15,000 launch fund that can used for free stock, an EPOS system, store branding or marketing support.

The previous two recruitment drives were a £50,000 store development competition launched in February and a ‘Bring a Friend and win’ campaign launched in June.
