Monster Energy is teaming up with video game Assassin’s Creed Origins, to launch an on-pack promotion offering fans exclusive in-game content and special prizes.
The promotion runs from October 1 until the end of March 2018, with Monster Energy drinks cans customised with the game’s characters.
Single cans carry one of three designs, and offer fans a pack of in-game resources to facilitate a player’s progression, as well as a chance to win prizes such as gaming consoles, Assassin’s Creed Origins video games and Monster Energy gaming fridges and apparel. Multipack cans also unlock unique gaming accessories to help gamer progression.
Each can has an individual code under the ring pull, which can be redeemed online.
Celebrating 10 years of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Origins hits shelves on October 27. Retailers will be supported with in-store Monster Energy material including customised, game relevant ‘sphinx’, ‘tomb’ and arch displays in addition to a full suite of POS to help increase visibility.
