Spotify in partnership with PayPoint

Paypoint and Spotify logos

PayPoint has added music-streaming service Spotify to its digital voucher range, which already includes Sony PlayStation, Nintendo, Bin Weevils and Skype. Customers are now able to purchase Spotify Premium in cash at any PayPoint store.

Andrew Goddard, Retail Director of PayPoint UK & Ireland, said: “Adding Spotify to our range of consumer products means that more customers – old and new – have more reasons to come into a shop with PayPoint, giving retailers even more opportunities to sell more goods at the same time.”

Andy Wiggan, Director of Payments at Spotify, views Paypoint as an ideal payment partner because of its extensive network and the central role that its retailers play in their local communities. He concluded: “Digital eVouchers are a brilliantly simple and convenient way to give the gift of music on Spotify to a friend or family member or to enjoy yourself.”

PayPoint will be adding further entertainment brands to their digital voucher category over the coming months in a bid to encourage customers to ‘Pick up more from your local store’.
