Coca-Cola shows some bottle with new campaign

Coca-Cola is marking 100 years of its Contour Bottle design with a new marketing campaign titled “I’ve Kissed…”, featuring stars of yesteryear being ‘kissed by’ the Coke bottle.

A TV ad will run throughout March which aims to show how the bottle has played a part in moments of happiness and celebration over the past 100 years.

This will be followed by two weeks of out of home advertising, featuring Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe and Ray Charles drinking from the Contour bottle. There will also be digital and social media activity.

“The Coca-Cola Contour Glass Bottle is a design classic, which has stood the test of time and fashion changes,” said Bobby Brittain, Marketing Strategy and Activation Director, Coca-Cola Great Britain. “We wanted to create a campaign that celebrates the rich history and heritage of Coca-Cola throughout the past 100 years, and show how it continues to endure as a pop culture icon”.
