SGF encourages retailers to share HFSS views

Scottish Parliament building

SGF is encouraging retailers to complete the Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment (BRIA) on the proposals set out in the government’s Food and Drink High in Fat, Sugar or Salt consultation.

The survey will help the government assess the potential impacts of the proposals on businesses.

The SGF said: “This is a key issue for many retailers and SGF has responded to the HFSS consultation to ensure that the proposed changes are targeted correctly and are both practical and viable for our members.

“SGF is encouraging retailers to share their views by completing the BRIA survey.”

Retailers can fill the survey, which is live until 31 October, out online.
