Kinder has unveiled its latest range of Kinder Surprise Pink and Blue eggs, containing Barbie and Justice League toys.
Rolling out from February, the eggs will be available until mid-April and aim to capitalise on the popularity of Barbie and the animated characters in Justice League.
The eggs carry an RSP of 86p (20g).
A range of POS materials – suitable for all store sizes – is available to retailers at ferrero-trade.co.uk.
The launch will be supported by a £1.3m TV advertising campaign, kicking-off in March for six weeks.
Levi Boorer, customer development director at Ferrero UK, said: “Kinder Pink and Blue first launched in 2013 and the brand is now worth £67m, whilst continuing to grow in a declining kid’s confectionery category.
“We’re confident that these new limited editions will be a hit with parents looking to purchase a relevant treat for their children.”
