Week argument has holes in it

Lots of doughnuts

Not satisfied with blagging a National Doughnut Day, the doughnut industry has targeted an entire week. Whether or not consumers will become tired of yet another marketing-driven ruse remains to be seen, but it is hoped that coffee shops and convenience stores across the UK will raise funds for the Children’s Trust by promoting sales of doughnuts. The idea is that they encourage customers to join to swap other sweet treats for a doughnut. If you’d like to encourage your customers to spend a week eating deep fried dough, you can get involved on 9-16th May.
