Spar Scotland and Rollover give to Marie Curie

Spar Scotland and Rollover, a hotdog supplier to the convenience industry, are running a promotion in every one of Spar Scotland’s 80 company-owned stores.

The promotion, which runs from 1-31 December, will see 10p from the sale of every Rollover product sold donated to the end of life charity Marie Curie.

Stephen Brown, Head of Food-to-Go at Spar Scotland, said: “We love working with suppliers who share our values and want to help our national charity partner Marie Curie. By working together on this campaign throughout December, we’re able to boost sales and reach Rollover’s target market in an engaging way, all whilst raising funds for Marie Curie.

“We know our customers like to give back, especially to a cause they care about and that is why we have decided to match fund the donation when it reaches £2,000.”

The promotion is being supported in-store with POS and digital adverts on menu screens, as well as social media posts.

David Dewhurst, Regional Manager for Scotland at Rollover, said: “Our partnership with Spar Scotland has gone from strength to strength over the last two years and when we had the idea of giving back this Christmas we instantly wanted to deliver this campaign with the team at Spar.

It’s been another challenging year for everyone and this donation we hope will go some way to aiding a great national charity.”
