Penny Petroleum plans to revamp Fife forecourt

Penny Petroleum is seeking planning permission to refurbish Garvock Filling Station in Halbeath, Fife.

If approved, changes would be made to the shop to include a drive-thru collection kiosk.

In addition, the existing canopy and jet wash station would be removed to make room for a new canopy, with associated forecourt works to the surface and three new islands with six pumps and one offset fill point.

One disabled parking bay would also be created at the front of the forecourt area with a new access ramp and a new building entrance area to create better access for customers.

There would be nine parking spaces created at the rear of the filling station, two staff parking bays, two electric vehicle charging points, three covered jet wash points, one car wash, and a vac, air and water tower.

Forecourt areas would also be resurfaced, the drainage would be replaced and updated, and new signage would be installed.

In addition, below-ground fuel tanks and fuel lines would be installed.
