Nisa staff donate £65k to charities

Kate Carroll

Nisa Retail has donated £65,000 to over 100 worthy causes and charities around the Scunthorpe area.

Staff at Nisa Retail’s Member Support Centre based at Normanby Enterprise Park chose 124 different charities and good causes which benefitted from £300 each.

The money was raised through the company’s charity Making A Difference Locally (MADL), which raises money by shoppers purchasing specific products in store and a percentage goes into a virtual fund to be donated to worthy causes.

Kate Carroll (pictured), MADL Charity Manager, said: “As one of Scunthorpe’s largest companies, we’re proud to be able to support the local community, and over the years we have donated around £350,000 to the area through Making A Difference Locally”.
