Hundreds of retailers and suppliers attend Nisa’s Expo event this week (17-18 October) at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire.
The event featured more than 200 stands from brands across the food-to-go, chilled, frozen, grocery, licensed, and non-foods categories.
The Nisa village also included an enhanced format and development area with various zones to help and inspire customers in developing their store, space planning zones, and the opportunity to discuss fascia options, design advice and more.
In addition, there were several industry sessions led by the event’s sponsors throughout the two days with focus on what is happening in convenience, how to grow specific categories, and the benefit of the Co-op own brand in-store. A Women in Retail panel proved to be a popular session with more than 50 attendees packing out the stage area to hear from five female retail experts.
Retailers, suppliers and Nisa colleagues were also treated to an Alice in Wonderland themed gala dinner with numerous Nisa retailers and suppliers taking home well-earned awards and tributes.
Following the event, leftover food and drink products from attending exhibitors were donated to foodbanks in Coventry.
Nisa Managing Director Peter Batt said: “I’d like to thank all retailers, exhibitors, colleagues and event agencies for making this year’s Nisa Expo event a really successful one. This two-day event is always a fantastic opportunity to come together to reflect on the year and consider new ways of working together over the coming weeks and months.”
