Independent, the brand owned by Costcutter, has launched a new range of pre-packed sandwiches.
The range, offering standard sandwiches, deep fill sandwiches, wraps and sub rolls, has 17 different variants; from the staple Ham and Cheese sandwich and a deep fill BLT to wraps including Southern Fried Chicken and Chicken and Stuffing sub rolls.
The sandwiches, which are available direct to store, are the latest addition to the Independent range and are competitively priced while also offering retailers a strong margin. A consumer meal deal is also available with consumers buying a sandwich and a drink and getting a free bag of Independent Specialist crisps. The meal deal is supported in store with a full suite of POS materials.
Independent has teamed up with sandwich manufacturer Greencore to develop a range for Costcutter, Mace, Kwiksave, Supershop and Simply Fresh retailers.
