Heinz adds four new pastries to chilled range

New Heinz Beanz product range

Heinz is launching four new products into its range of chilled savoury pastries, which are manufactured, marketed and sold under license by Peter’s Food in South Wales.

A new Heinz Beanz with Chicken and BBQ Sauce pastry slice will join the range of 160g slices that are already available using Heinz beans in five other flavours: Heinz Beanz, Heinz Beanz with Cheese, Heinz Beanz with Smoky Sausage, Heinz Beanz with Meatballs, and Heinz Beanz with Smoky Bacon.

An 8 x 60g Heinz Beanz with Cheese pockets multi-pack is also launching.

In addition, Heinz is introducing two new sauces to its range of sauce-topped pork sausage rolls.

Heinz Firecracker Sauce, a tomato and chipotle chilli sauce with a smoky flavour, will launch in a 130g Heinz Firecracker Sauce Pork Roll, and the HP Texan Style BBQ Sauce with a smoky, hickory flavour, is launching in a 130g HP BBQ Sauce Pork Roll.

The new rolls join the range of Heinz Tomato Ketchup, HP Brown Sauce, and Heinz Ploughman’s Pickle 130g rolls already on the market. 4 x 60g multi pack rolls topped with Heinz Tomato Ketchup and HP Brown Sauce are also available.

The new products can be consumed either hot or cold.

“The flavour combination in our new Heinz Beanz with Chicken and BBQ Sauce slice gives Heinz fans another tasty way to enjoy our classic Beanz on the go, and now consumers can enjoy more varied meal occasions with the Heinz Beanz with Cheese pockets, providing more flexibility to increasingly busy lifestyles.

“Convenience food continues to be a wide market, and the launch of the Heinz Firecracker Sauce Pork Roll and HP BBQ Sauce Pork Roll gives consumers even more interesting flavour options and choice on the go.”
