GroceryAid supports retailers with leaflet for staff

Shopworkers

GroceryAid has launched a leaflet to help independent retailers inform new starters and existing employees about the charity’s free and confidential support available to them from the first day of employment.

The newly launched one-page document is designed to enhance the onboarding process for independent retailers, as well as remind existing employees about GroceryAid’s support. It serves as an introductory guide to the charity’s welfare services, explaining the emotional, financial, and practical support available, including the free and confidential Helpline.

Retailers can order the leaflets from the GroceryAid website for delivery to their store. There is no cost for the leaflet or delivery.

Mandi Leonard, GroceryAid’s Welfare Director, said: “GroceryAid is here to support anyone working in the grocery industry and we are committed to making it as easy as possible for employers to inform their staff about how we can help them.

“Now more than ever, GroceryAid is a valuable resource to colleagues, and we hope retailers will take advantage of this new information leaflet to spread awareness.”

GroceryAid, which has been at the forefront of supporting grocery industry staff for more than 165 years, provides a variety of support ranging from financial grants to counselling, free legal advice and business debt advice.
