Florette freshens up salad range in time for autumn

Florette salad mixes

Florette is launching two new salad mixes this autumn – new Winter Mix and new Sandwich Mix.

The Winter Mix bag follows in the wake of the brand’s seasonal Summer Mix and comes in response to extensive consumer research. It offers a selection of colourful red leaves and vegetables to freshen up winter meals, including ruby chard, baby spinach, red baby lettuce, grated beetroot and carrot.

Florette is also introducing the Sandwich Mix in response to industry insight, which showed that sandwiches account for 30% of salad occasions. It features a blend of crunchy, mild and flat salad leaves that are specifically designed to sit well in sandwiches and wraps. These include batavia, green cos and spinach.

Rebecca Walker, Brand Manager at Florette, commented: “As the winter season approaches, consumers are in need of a seasonal option to replace our successful Summer Mix and brighten up winter meals. At Florette, we only grow where the sun goes, and our Winter Mix bag guarantees fresh, naturally-tasting salad, even during the colder months.

“Similarly, we know many of our consumers lead busy lives – our new Sandwich Salad Mix is designed to be hassle-free way to add a delicious fresh flavour to your sandwich.”

The new Winter Mix and Sandwich Salad Mix will be sold at an RSP of £1 and will be available this autumn.
