BrewDog kicks off carbon negative campaign

BrewDog has launched a new advertising campaign focusing on its claim to be the world’s first carbon negative brewery.

‘The Planet’s Favourite Beer’, which runs throughout August and September with the intention of reaching 26 million adults, highlights that the Ellon-based brewer’s environmentally-friendly way of working makes “a better world for everyone”.

BrewDog’s green credentials include offsetting double its entire carbon footprint through tree planting initiatives, brewing using only renewable energy, using packaging made from easily recycled materials, prioritising local ingredients and transporting its beer in the UK’s first electric 19-tonne truck.

The TV and video-on-demand advert is supported by out-of-home, digital, social and print activity.
