BrewDog seeks to save planet

Brewdog's 'Beer for your grandchildren' billboard

BrewDog has launched ‘Beer For Your Grandchildren,’ a new campaign to publicise the Ellon-based brewer’s ongoing pledge to protect the planet.

The out-of-home campaign highlights BrewDog’s efforts towards safeguarding the planet through its sustainability goals, ensuring that future generations will still be able to drink beer.

Billboards show the world in flames and call on everyone to make choices that protect the planet for the good of children.

BrewDog boss James Watt said: “Beer For Your Grandchildren is all about doing things right today to protect future generations. We hope in 50 years we’ll still be around brewing beer for your grandchildren, as they deserve to enjoy this planet… and, of course, great beer too.”

For the past three years, BrewDog – which is certified carbon negative – has been working with sustainability expert Professor Mike Berners-Lee as its lead independent scientific advisor. The campaign is the latest in a line of initiatives aimed at protecting the planet.
