Black Pud officially recognised

When UTC pops down to his local butcher for the Sunday meat, he’ll sometimes pick up a slab of black pudding for a wee treat – being a man of the highest standards he’ll accept nothing but Stornoway Black Pudding, so he was thrilled to hear that this particular food stuff has joined the ranks of Parma Ham, Arbroath Smokie and Melton Mowbray Pork Pies as having Protected Geographical Indication, meaning you can only call it ‘Stornoway Black Pudding’ if it was made in Stornoway.
