All systems go for Daz launch

Pack of Daz Go pods

Procter & Gamble is introducing an addition to its laundry brand Daz: new Daz Go Pods, which will be available to retailers nationwide from May.

P&G says Daz Go Pods will “make washing easier while delivering a brilliant all-around cleaning experience for both white and coloured fabrics at a highly competitive price”.

One pod is sufficient for one washing load of up to 6kg of clothes.  Available in packs of 12, 16 and 27 washes, the new product comes at an rrp of £3.50, £4.50 and £7.00 respectively. P&G is going to support the launch with a consumer-focused campaign to maximise exposure among its target audience.

Daniel Jalalpour, P&G Brand Manager for Fabric Care Northern Europe, commented: “The introduction of the new Daz Go Pods is a breakthrough innovation for the brand and will significantly step-change its performance within the liquitabs segment. Daz is widely recognised as an important entry level brand for price-conscious consumers; the new Daz Go pods will help us attract those budget-savvy shoppers to the more premium segment.”

Jalalpour concluded: “Daz remains a signpost brand for the laundry category and is regularly used by shoppers to identify the fixture in-store. The media campaign to support the launch of Daz Go Pods is going to raise the brand’s profile even further; hence this launch presents the perfect opportunity for retailers to replenish their stock to respond to the high demand.”
