Weetabix Crispy Minis cuts sugar content

Weetabix Crispy Minis

Weetabix has reduced the amount of sugar in its Weetabix Crispy Minis at the same time as adding Vitamin D2 to the range.

Packs, which now contain up to 4g less sugar, have also received a design makeover, with a new strap boasting “Great taste in every bite”.

Revised 100g packs are available now in Choc Chip; Banana; and Fruit & Nut flavours.

Weetabix plans to spend £10m on marketing in 2019 with its ongoing ‘Have You Had Your Weetabix?’ campaign. Crispy Minis Choc Chip tags will feature at the end of the ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ TV ad.

Commenting on the reformulation, Weetabix Senior Brand Manager Zoe Brimfield said: “We’re confident Minis will continue to be a firm favourite for families and go down a treat at the breakfast table.”
