Pot Noodle targets busy youth with £4.5m campaign

Eating Pot Noodle

Pot Noodle is launching its new ‘You Can Make It’ campaign with a TV commercial that shows how Pot Noodle is “the perfect hot snack to fit the lifestyles of a young and go-getting audience”.

Airing from today (1st September), the ad demonstrates how Pot Noodle can save consumers valuable time that can be better spent pursuing their dreams with a rallying cry of ‘You can make it!’ A one minute version will be broadcast during this Saturday’s X Factor.

The advert shows the journey of a young man growing up in the UK who realises his dream of becoming what appears to be a boxer in Las Vegas. Through sheer grit and determination, and fuelled by Pot Noodles, he makes his debut in the boxing ring cheered on by his friends and family, only to be revealed as the ring guy holding up the round cards.

The £4.5m campaign will be supported by digital, TV, VOD and social media posts, with further in-store support set to take place in October.

Monique Rossi, Brand Manager for Pot Noodle, commented: “Our ‘You Can Make It’ campaign helps reposition Pot Noodle as a brand that can support people’s hectic lifestyles, thanks to it being quick and easy to prepare. The creative is in keeping with the brand’s irreverent humour and shows how consumers can spend less time cooking and more time pursuing their dreams.”

Pot Noodle is available in cases of 12 and has an rrp of £1.09 per SKU.
