Loch Lomond Brewery won 25 medals, including 12 golds at this year’s SIBA Scotland Beer Awards (26 June 2026).
The Dumbarton-based brewer will now represent Scotland at the UK Indie Beer Awards National Finals next March.
Its 6% West Coast IPA, Bravehop. won the overall Cask Champion Award. The beer is known for its marmalade and pine aromas, caramel and apricot flavours, and bittersweet finish.
Southern Summit also enjoyed success, winning gold in both its cask and keg categories. The alcohol-free version of the pale ale secured gold in the 440ml can category.
The awards were presented at the Indie Beer Festival as part of the SIBA Scotland Beer Awards. The competition is organised by the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates and judged by master brewers, beer sommeliers, brewing industry representatives and expert beer judges.
