Campari Group has launched Aperol Spritz To Go, marking the flagship aperitif brand’s first move into the ready-to-drink category.
The canned format is available now across convenience, major grocers and wholesale, targeting incremental occasions within the UK RTD segment, which is up 23.1% year on year.
The launch builds on the strength of Aperol Spritz as the number one cocktail serve in the GB on-trade and is aimed at appealing to both existing brand loyalists and new-to-category shoppers, including younger consumers seeking familiar cocktail serves in convenient formats.
At 5% ABV, Aperol Spritz To Go delivers the brand’s classic bittersweet orange and sparkling profile in a ready-to-drink format designed to be consumed chilled, straight from the 250ml can. The product is positioned for outdoor and on-the-go occasions as warmer weather approaches.
