Vertical marathon

UTC was forced to doff his ragged cap to former professional footballer and inspirational businessman Stephen Tennent thanks to his world record bid to complete a vertical marathon at the Glasgow Hilton Hotel. Backed by Tennent’s Caledonian Breweries, Stephen will be burning his way up 21 storeys of hotel stairs 671 times, travelling up 14,091 storeys and a total of 238,205 stairs, aiming to raise £50,000 for the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice.
