Spar Scotland has teamed up with Brownings the Bakers to produce a twin-pack of  ‘stay at home’ Empire biscuits.

Priced at £1.60, the twin-pack is available exclusively in Spar stores or a limited period. Sixty pence from the sale of each product will go to Spar’s national charity partner, Marie Curie, who are supporting the NHS during this critical time.

Spar boss Colin McLean said: “Marie Curie nurses are doing a phenomenal job helping terminally people and their families at what is already the most challenging moment in their lives. We hope consumers will support this campaign and as a result support Marie Curie.”

John Gall, Joint Managing Director of Brownings the Bakers, added: “We are absolutely delighted to partner with Spar Scotland to produce one of our best selling products with the #stayathome hashtag and look forward to seeing how much we can help contribute to the wonderful and very well deserved Marie Curie charity.”
