AG Barr is launching premium Italian soft drinks brand San Benedetto in the UK.
Available from February 2018, the range will include two flavours – Limone and Clementina. Molto bene if you knew that these are Lemon and Orange respectively.
Slim 330ml cans have an RSP of 85p and are available in outers of 24.
San Benedetto contains 12% juice and is made with the first squeeze of the fruit which, AG Barr says, ensures only the highest quality juice is used. It also contains less than 5g of sugar per 100ml, exempting it from April’s forthcoming sugar tax.
AG Barr recommends that retailers merchandise the new products alongside other high fruit adult carbonates to create an ‘Indulge Yourself’ section in the chiller, to signpost the shopper occasion and drive impulse purchases.
