Porrelli ice cream

Ice cream manufacturer Porrelli is launching into 156 KeyStores throughout the country.

The Paisley-based company are making the move into the convenience store format as part of expansion plans in this, their 90th year in business and the year of Scotland’s Food and Drink.

Working with distributors, Eden Farm, Porrelli are offering two of their leading flavours, Traditional Vanilla and Scottish Tablet in 500ml pots.

Long-established in the catering trade, and with a presence in three major supermarkets in recent years, Porelli says the time has come to extend their reach to the convenience market.

Managing Director of Porrelli, Enzo Durante commented, “As a Paisley born and bred company we’re thrilled to be working with other Scottish brands KeyStore and JW Filshill to bring our ice cream to the convenience market, making it easier for consumers to enjoy. As one of few ice cream manufacturers still in Scotland we’re delighted to be taking this next step in our expansion plans in the same year we celebrate 90th anniversary.”

Ian McDonald, JW Filshill Sales & Marketing Director said:  “Porrelli Ice Cream is a fantastic local brand that we are both excited and proud to range for our customers. We see this as a great opportunity for both Porrelli and Keystore to be working together.”
