Popchips launches ‘Pop up your afternoon’ campaign

KP Snacks has unveiled a new radio-led push for popchips in partnership with Capital.

Running until mid-May, the ‘Pop up your afternoon’ campaign spans Capital’s radio, digital and social channels to champion popchips’ flavour and crunch while making the brand the go-to afternoon pick‑me‑up.

The activity features three core elements. First, four high‑energy audio ads voiced by award‑winning UK pop star and brand ambassador Tom Grennan will air every afternoon at peak snack time, to keep popchips front of mind when listeners need a lift.

Second, monthly competitions will give Capital listeners multiple chances to win taste‑ and music‑led prizes. Rewards include a ‘Popstar Weekend’ for four with gig tickets and an overnight stay at a four‑star hotel; a Madrid night out for two with return flights, two nights’ accommodation at a four‑star hotel and entry to Fabrik; a Prague getaway featuring a rooftop DJ session; and a sunset boat party in Malta.

Finally, a ‘Chip Chat’ social video presented by Capital’s Will Manning and singer‑songwriter Mimi Webb brings popchips’ fun credentials to life in a personality‑driven, unfiltered, confessional style.
