Olympic champion visits Grace Foods

Jamaican Olympic and World 100m champion, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, hosted a Q&A session with local schoolchildren at Caribbean food and drink supplier, Grace Foods, ahead of Caribbean Food week.

Fraser-Pryce, ambassador for Grace Foods, said: “It was great to meet the children and to share with them what it takes if you want to be the best in your field, in whatever you choose to do, and how important it is to have self-belief.”

Caribbean Food Week, the UK’s biggest celebration of Caribbean food and drink, takes place on the 24th-31st August. Retailers are being urged to ensure they take advantage of the opportunity by creating a Caribbean-themed display featuring products from the likes of Grace Foods.

Grace Foods UK Brand Manager Giuseppe Vullo said they were “thrilled” to host the visit, adding that the children enjoyed the experience too.
