Seven new fresh produce lines have been added to the Londis SmartBuy range.
The new lines are SmartBuy tomatoes (pack of six, rrp at 89p), carrots (500g, rrp at 75p), onions (three pack, rrp at 99p), mushrooms (250g, rrp at 89p) potatoes (2kg, rrp at £1.49), apples (pack of seven, rrp at £1.25) and easy peeler citrus (500g, rrp at £1.25).
John Pattison, Londis Brand Director said the range has been well-received by both retailers and shoppers. He commented: “We exceeded our 1,000 store year-end target in 2014 with 1,153 actively participating stores. It will be a £3m brand by the end of 2015 and our intent is to expand to 100 lines by the end of the year.”
The additions bring the number of lines in the range up to 39. These include items such as kitchen towels, foil, milk, cheese, cookies, chocolate and teabags.
As with all SmartBuy products, the new fresh produce lines will be price marked and available at a guaranteed 30% POR margin. POS is provided to all participating retailers via the Londis Printshop.
