Lloyds customers are set to have access to a secure way to pay in cash at over 30,000 PayPoint locations, using a ‘barcode cash deposit’ app feature.
Available from 26th August, the feature gives customers a simple and convenient way to pay in up to £300 a day in notes and coins (up to a maximum of £600 a month) and the money will show in their account within minutes.
99.5% of people live within one mile of a PayPoint location and customers can find their nearest in the Lloyds app or on the PayPoint website.
Customers will be able to go to the ‘Everyday’ area in their app, to generate a barcode, which will remain valid for two hours. This can then be scanned at over 30,000 PayPoint locations across the UK, with over 94% of PayPoint sites open seven days a week.
