Walkers adds two new flavours to core range

Walkers Sticky Teriyaki and Masala Chicken

Walkers has expanded its core range with two new globally inspired flavours: Sticky Teriyaki and Masala Chicken.

The launch taps into growing consumer interest, with Tikka Masala continuing to gain popularity and demand for Japanese flavours in the salty snacks segment rising by 60%.

Developed over the course of a year and refined through 63 different flavour variations, both new additions are non-HFSS and will be available from the last week of August. Formats include 6-pack multipacks (RSP £2.15), 45g grab bags (RSP £1.10) and 70g price-marked packs (RSP £1.35).

The rollout comes ahead of Walkers’ ‘Flavourite’ campaign, which goes live in September. Celebrating consumers’ passion for their favourite flavours, the campaign is built around the idea that while not every flavour suits everyone, everyone has one they love.

Running throughout September and October, the campaign will span TV, out-of-home, digital, PR, social and shopper media.
