Jamie Buchanan, formerly of CJ Lang & Sons, has joined the Scottish Grocers’ Federation team as membership consultant.
SGF said the move would allow it to further develop relationships and partnerships with key suppliers and industry stakeholders within the sector.
Commenting on the news, SGF boss Pete Cheema said, “Jamie has over 30 years’ experience in the convenience sector, therefore he will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Federation. We are delighted to welcome him on board.”
Jamie Buchanan added: “Given the significant challenges facing our sector at this time, I am excited by the opportunity to provide support to the SGF and its members, and look forward to working closely with our expanding support base in the coming weeks and months.”
