Jägermeister chills out in Norway

Northern Lights

Jägermeister has launched the latest instalment in its Ice Cold Gig series – documenting the brand’s most exciting gig to date.

The German herbal spirit invited Matthew Tuck, lead singer of popular beat combo Bullet for My Valentine, to complete a continuous gig on air, sea and land – performed whilst skydiving, on speedboat and husky sledding.

The marketing support behind the latest Ice Cold Gig will reach an anticipated 50 million target consumers through PR, social media and digital activity.

Also available for consumers to view on Jägermeister’s YouTube channel, the videos capture the harsh winter landscape of Lyngsfjord, Norway and sees the long-haired noise merchant endure ice cold conditions of up to -30 degrees Celsius to perform the three-part gig.

Following some action-packed escapades, the video closes with Tuck, the crew and his group of friends gathered alongside enthusiastic locals in a traditional Norwegian Sami, toasting with an ice-cold shot of Jägermeister.

Nicole Goodwin, Marketing Director at Mast-Jaegermeister UK, commented: “Jägermeister’s Ice Cold Gigs get bigger with each new instalment. The unique blend of great music and ice-cold feats will engage our core 18-35 year old male audience and drive brand awareness.

“Retailers can take advantage of this and provide the perfect Ice Cold Shot by stocking up on Jägermeister and ensuring it is stored in fridges or in Jägermeister freezers.”
