Co-op drivers to stage walk-out

Deliveries of fresh produce to Co-op stores could be disrupted next week, as more than 700 of its drivers plan a two-day strike in a dispute over the transfer of drivers to haulier Eddie Stobart.

The strike commences at 00.01 on Monday (21st March) and will be accompanied by a continuous work to rule.

Drivers based at Inverness and Newhouse are due to take part in the industrial action.
