Heineken gets behind Pride Edinburgh

Pride marchers

Heineken UK is sponsoring Pride Edinburgh, Scotland’s largest LGBTQIA+ celebration, as part of its ongoing Pride partnerships.

The activity will see Drag Race UK winner Lawrence Chaney and broadcaster Tiara Skye lead the brand’s presence at the event as official ambassadors. They will head up Heineken UK’s 100-strong colleague parade on 20 June, travelling from Horse Wynd to Bristo Square under the banner ‘Brewing with Love’.

The procession will feature a brass band and bagpipes playing pop tracks throughout the route.

The campaign builds on earlier Pride partnerships in Manchester and Brighton, extending the brewer’s focus on inclusion, equity and diversity.

Heineken UK said its Pride Edinburgh sponsorship forms part of its broader ‘Brew a Better World’ strategy, supporting inclusion across the business through leadership, policies, training and colleague networks.
