Glasgow 2014 packs launched

AG Barr is launching a new range of special packs for its Irn-Bru and Barr ranges to celebrate the brand’s role as the Official Soft Drink of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. The packs feature the Glasgow 2014 logo and are set to increase the feel-good factor as Scotland continues its preparations for the games. “These special packs will allow retailers to engage with their shoppers and drive sales before and during Glasgow 2014,” says Adrian Troy, AG Barr’s Head of Marketing. “The Barr brand is bringing a sense of fun to Glasgow 2014,” says Troy. “We recommend that retailers stock up on special packs to ensure they make the most of an exciting opportunity.” Irn-Bru is aiming to drive excitement around The Games with its new ‘Born to Support’ packs, which are available from May. The packs feature a special design which combines the Glasgow 2014 logo with Irn-Bru’s iconic ‘molten man’ icon.
