Funkin launches biggest-ever marketing push

Funkin Cocktails has embarked upon a £1m nationwide advertising campaign supporting its recently launched Nitro Canned Cocktails.

Kicking off today (17 July) and running until September, the out-of-home and digital campaign is targeted at consumers on-the-go and appears at all major railway stations, roadside as well as on taxis and social media channels. It is estimated that 7.2 million 25 to 44-year-olds will see the campaign.

The move represents Funkin’s largest investment in the brand’s 20-year history.

Ben Anderson, Marketing Director at Funkin Cocktails, commented: “Our advertising campaign will ensure that Funkin Nitro Canned Cocktails are seen by the nation and we would urge the trade to ensure they are stocked up, especially during the key summer season as they are perfect for outdoor events, picnics and barbecues.”

Launched in May, the Nitro Canned Cocktail range is infused with nitrogen and features four serves, Espresso Martini, Passionfruit Martini, Amaretto Sour and Pink Gin Fizz. Funkin said the nitrogen results in a creamy foam head and a smooth, velvety mouthfeel that is usually only achieved through shaking a cocktail.

Packed in cases of 12 x 200ml cans and with a 12-month shelf life, each Nitro Canned Cocktail has an RSP of £2.29 and 5% ABV.
