TV chef cooks up money-saving meals with Del Monte

Del Monte has teamed-up with cookery author and TV personality Lisa Faulkner to promote the positive benefits of eating canned fruit and highlight the value of incorporating Del Monte’s products into everyday meals.

Following on from last year’s partnership with food writer and campaigner Jack Monroe, the collaboration begins with the development of a tailor-made series of recipes utilising the brand’s core canned fruit range and will include seasonal recipes for key occasions such as Christmas, Veganuary and Easter.

The focus of the recipes will be to offer families inspiration to create nutritious, appetising and affordable dishes, especially at a time when purse strings are tightening. Using Del Monte’s most popular products, the recipes will be available from the end of November to consumers through a wide-reaching digital and PR campaign, including both Faulkner’s and Del Monte’s socials.

Faulkner will also support the activity with a series of national media interviews, highlighting the benefits of using canned fruit and how incorporating it into the family diet offers a convenient and good-value solution.
