Scott Malcolm, CJ Lang’s Managing Director, is stepping down after nine years in the role.

The company’s Trading Director, David Lamb, will take over the reins on an interim basis until a successor for Malcolm is in post.

Malcolm, who has been with Lang’s for 31 years, stated “it has been a privilege to work for such a tremendous organisation for such a long period of time and a great honour to serve as Managing Director.

“I am very grateful for the backing I have enjoyed from our shareholders and greatly indebted to so many loyal and dedicated colleagues for their support in helping to achieve very creditable results during such a challenging trading period.  I wish David every success in his new role and am looking forward to working with him in the coming weeks to achieve a seamless handover.”
