Cadbury has announced the return of its ‘Match & Win’ promotion for the fourth consecutive year.

The consumer competition, running from 22 August to 15 November, offers shoppers the chance to win football-related prizes, including 10 pairs of VIP tickets and 500 pairs of match tickets.

The promotion features on 170 million Cadbury packs including Twirl, Wispa, Crunchie and Double Decker and across a range of formats such as singles, tablets, bags and multipacks.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all partnering with Mondelez for the promotion, with players such as Harry Kane, Cesar Azpilicueta, Joe Gomez, Kieran Tierney, Aymeric Laporte and Aaron Wan Bissaka promoting the competition across social media channels and featuring in campaign advertising.

For a chance to win, consumers can purchase any participating Cadbury product, visit the matchandwin.co.uk website and enter the barcode and batch code visible on the pack. When the code is entered, they will receive a randomised predicted score for an upcoming football game. If the predicted score matches the actual result they are guaranteed a prize.

To make the most of the occasion, retailers should stock up on participating Cadbury products in advance and maximise visibility in store to create real excitement.”

Cadbury ‘Match & Win’ season four will be supported by a £3m marketing spend including PoS material, out-of-home advertising and digital and social media support.
