Cadbury has ball with new product

Cadbury has kicked the 2019/20 football season, and the third year of its official partnership with the Premier League, with the launch of a new chocolate football which the brand is touting as a year-round gifting opportunity for consumers.

The 256g Cadbury Dairy Milk Premier League Milk Chocolate Football is available to order now in outers of four with an RSP of £6.99.

The ball is individually wrapped and comes in its own Premier League branded box. The boxes feature an on-pack Premier League digital game which is accessed via scanning the QR code or by visiting superstriker.cadburyfc.com. Consumers have 15 chances to put one past the keeper and gain a top score.

“The partnership between the Premier League and Cadbury Dairy Milk is a recipe for success. Only they together could create a unique gifting product like this – it’s sure to bring a huge smile to the faces of football-mad shoppers,” said Kelly Lawrence, Brand Executive for Seasonal Chocolate at Mondelez International.

Football was the most searched-for term on Google in the UK last year, and more than 14 million people attended a Premier League game last season.
