Maynards Bassetts has shaken up its popular Wine Gums range of hanging bags with some new non-alcoholic cocktail flavours.
Wine Gums Mocktails is available now in a 130g bag (RSP £1.32), as well as a 165g £1 price-marked pack. Both contain an assortment of alcohol-free Strawberry Daiquiri, Pina Colada and Cuba Libre jelly sweets.
Marta Sanso, Senior Brand Manager for Joyful Candy at brand-owner Mondelez International, said the NPD was bold and extremely relevant to British consumers.
“It received an outstanding rating in consumer concept testing, so we believe it will drive incremental sales within the Younger Adults segment of the market, providing a further growth opportunity,” he said.
