Scots start-up launches oat milk brand

Karen Robinson

Scottish entrepreneur and busy mum of three, Karen Robinson, is looking to shake up the dairy-free milk category with the launch of Three Robins.

When one of her three young sons developed a lactose intolerance as a toddler, Robinson set about creating a versatile, fully fortified, sustainable and tasty alternative to cow’s milk that everyone could enjoy.

Thought to be the UK’s first oat drink brand created especially for families, Three Robins is available in 1-ltr ‘family-sized’, easy-pour cartons with an RSP of £12.60 for a case of six. All packaging is FSC-certified and fully recyclable.

Karen Robinson commented: “With a creamy, neutral taste that appeals to kids and a carefully considered nutritional profile, Three Robins offers parents reassurance that switching to plant-based doesn’t have to mean that children miss out.”

Committed to offering ‘oat goodness for the whole family’, plans are afoot for Three Robins to expand its product offering into a range of other family-friendly drink and snack formats.

Retailers should email sales@threerobins.co.uk for stock enquiries.
