Co-op Stornaway on the Isle of Lewis is the first convenience store in Scotland to open an in-store Bonmarché.

The outlet is one of five Co-ops to have a Bonmarché ‘store in store’ concession, alongside recently opened English sites in Plympton, Devon; Hereford; and Prudhoe, Northumberland and the original concession in Louth Co-op in Lincolnshire, which opened in 2024.

The move enables value womenswear fashion retailer Bonmarché to bring its latest collections direct to more communities. The new stores showcase wardrobe essentials and fashion staples as well as nightwear, accessories, and footwear.

The stores also feature exciting new collections from their brand ambassadors, Lisa Snowdon and Lorraine Kelly, as well as their everyday luxury brand Dash and casual lifestyle brand Autonomy.

Kevin Buchan, Head of Partnerships, Co-op, said:

“We are delighted to grow our partnership with Bonmarché, and to work with them to unveil their latest in-store concessions. Co-op is committed to backing high streets and communities, and we work to ensure our stores are more than just a shop.”

The two retailers have ambitions to continue to work together to grow the partnership.
